Journal Article Citations

Print Journal

Author Last Name, First Initial. (Year of Publication). Title of Article. Title of Journal, Volume (Issue #), Page Numbers.
****In this example, "18" is the volume number, “3” is the issue number, and "5-18" are the page numbers.****

A Note About Authors

Rules about listing authors:

1. One author: 

Author last name, first initial. 

Example: Webb, A.M. 

2. Two authors: 

1st author last name, initials of first name, & 2nd author last name, initials of first name. 

Example: Webb, A.M., & Bondy, A.E.

3. First 20 authors

List all 20 in standard author format. Add ampersand (&) before the last author.

4. More than 20 authors:

List the first 19 authors then ellipsis (...) followed by final author's name. No ampersand (&).
